Final Days to Register to Host a Park(ing) Spot!

If you are in the planning stages of hosting a Park(ing) Spot for Park(ing) Day NYC we suggest you take a quick moment to register online! Registration allows Transportation Alternatives to request your City Permit and print your gorgeous Park(ing) Day Sign. We will also promote your space through printed maps and our website. Registering your spot means choosing the location, but you still have the beginning of September to work out the details. The final deadline for Park(ing) Spot registrations is MONDAY AUGUST 30TH!

I am a director in neighborhood initiatives development corporation and I lead youth leadership initiatives. I would like to know if there is anyway psosible that I can still register for parking day…
I have 10 and 11th graders who would love to participate in the northeast bronx to really bring awareness to youth safety.

Hi, I have been planning on and organizing a park(ing) day event with a few fellow classmates of mine in the Syracuse University School of Architecture New York City studio program. I worked for Rebar last summer and hosted a park(ing) spot in Syracuse NY in 2009. I had not realized there was a separate site here for NYC event and thus had not realized a deadline had been set for registering spots. Is there any way my spot can be included? Who should I call? Thank you for any help.
